How it's made

Our Process

AMPERS&ND cultured butter is made in small batches using British cream, natural cultures and time.

Inspired by traditional Scandinavian methods, the cream is slowly cultured before being churned, allowing flavour to develop naturally and without shortcuts.

The result is a butter with depth and balance — rich creaminess lifted by a gentle, complex acidity. Once churned, unrefined Himalayan pink salt is kneaded into the butter.

Cultured butter offers a more expressive flavour than standard butter, often compared to the difference between crème fraîche and cream.
