Our butter-making process takes time & care, with one focus: exceptional flavour. We start with cream from high-welfare British cows' milk, which we age & culture to develop a fuller, richer, more buttery taste.
We then traditionally barrel-churn & knead in salt to balance its flavour.
Ingredients: cream (milk), salt, lactic cultures

Add an extra buttermilk - AMPERS&ND buttermilk (500ml) -
We take AMPERS&ND buttermilk straight from the butter churn & pop it fresh into resealable, recyclable pouches. Our buttermilk packaging also features the perfect buttermilk pancake recipe.
Ingredients: MILK and lactic cultures.
Dispatch & delivery: Tue–Thu (made to order).
Tracked UK-mainland, typically 1–2 working days after dispatch.
Storage: Fridge 3–4 weeks unopened; freeze up to 12 months.
